Head over to my profile to see my other items for sale. My handmade ceramics are meticulously crafted by myself, in my studio based in Brighton, from the finest quality stoneware clay, and glazes. Each piece is assembled by hand and on average take 3-6 weeks to complete, and it goes through several stages, and 2 or 3 firings in the kiln, which fires up to about 1220 degrees centigrade. Although I take extra care making all my pieces all items are handmade and so may not be factory perfect, but this adds to the charm. Made to order items may vary a bit to the picture. Be assured I will not sell you something that does not meet my strict standards. If you receive something you are unhappy with please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to put it right. *please note that measurements are, although done to the best of my ability, are approximate. * My pottery makes the perfect gift for your wife, husband, friend, mum/mom, dad, girlfriend, boyfriend, auntie, uncle, grandpa, grandmother, brother, sister, son, daughter, teacher, for any occasion such as birthday, Christmas, wedding, Hanukkah, baby shower. I welcome orders from outside the UK, but please be aware that I can not be held accountable for the speed of the delivery, especially if there are any current delays to postal services, and customs costs. All items sent overseas will be tracked. If you wish to buy more than one item please contact me before purchase for combined postage costs. If postage details are not available for your country please contact me and I can work them out for you. Please note I do not make up the postage costs, they are based on Royal Mail prices for the weight and size. * Dispatch times and items handmade to order * Before you place your order you will be told if the item is in stock (dispatched in 3-5 days) or made to order (dispatched in 3-6 weeks). Items made to order take this long because every order is made from scratch. There are many stages to ceramics and the item has to be fired in the kiln at least 2-3 times, each time I have to wait till i can fill a kiln in order to save money and electricity. I work in cycles, where I work with the raw clay, wait for it to dry completely, fire it the first time, sand, rinse, glaze, fire for second time, sand the bottoms, then some items get applied with lustre and then fired a third time. To ask me to rush the process would be asking me to defy the laws of physics, which is a service I don’t yet offer. Sometimes mistake and accidents happen and the item might not come out the kiln the way it was meant. I work very hard, there is only one of me, and I work around my disability. I do my best to get items out in the time frame given, but I would ask for your understanding in these instances. My Post office day is normally Tuesday, but sometimes I can go on a Saturday. *please note that measurements are, although done to the best of my ability, are approximate. *
